Working on: Finish law learner. Talk about issues that face girls today and what we'd like to say to the next President. Introduction to WoW! Journey if books are delivered in time.

What to Bring: $1 dues, law learners if you took it home with you.

Forms and documents

You might want to bookmark this post. I'm going to stick all of the documents we use in here and if you ever need one you can come back and print it out. I'll be adding to as we go along.

Badge Requirement Form - Fill out for missed badge work or optional badges

Brownie Badge Record - We're going to use this to track your child's awards, feel free to print one out and track along with us.

Emergancy Contact and Information Form - We'll require a new one of these every year or if your information changes, please print one out and turn it in.

Media Release Form - Everyone is so picky now that we have to have these on file if we do a public website or blog. I'll hand them out at the 6/25 meeting but if you've missed it please print it out and turn it in to us.

6/25 Meeting

5:45 - 6:45 Monday June 25th at the Church Youth Center

Working on: Girl Scout Law Learner and parental meeting. If possible please stay during this meeting so that we can discuss a few things.


What to Bring: $7.00 if you choose to purchase the book we will be working in this summer. I would advise buying it because we will be using it a lot. If you are unable to bring the $7.00 but still would like for your girl to have a book please let us know. *Update: Cookie Dough cards can be used for the books.*

How to use this blog

We will be using this blog to keep you updated on our plans, events, and what we've been doing.

Each meeting will be posted ahead of time with all of the pertinent information. After the meeting we will be posting "minutes" of what was done and instructions on make-up for any girl who missed the meeting. That way it is all presented in an easily navigatable format.

All upcoming events or meetings will be posted directly at the top right under "Dates To Remember."

If you are looking for a specific post you can go over on the right to the "Blog Archive" and search by date, to the "Labels" and search by subject, or down at the bottom there is a search box that you can search by keyword.

Also, some of the parents don't use Facebook, and though we will be putting a link to each post in Facebook, you can also sign up down at the bottom of the page to have each post emailed directly to you so that you don't miss anything.

We thought that this would cut down on confusion as the Facebook posts move around the page depending on whether someone comments or not.

I posted a few picture posts so that you could play around with the functions and see how the page works.

We will never post your child's last name or give out a specific meeting locations on this page for safety reasons. If you have questions about a meeting location please contact us via Facebook or phone.
